   "The aim of this center is to create a research environment where creative people can collaborate for basic and translational research that leads to commercialization. Another aim of this center is to provide training opportunities for graduate and undergraduate students in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. This center will offer training and research opportunities in the areas of nanotechnology, which are not only of current importance, but are crucial, emerging areas that will remain attractive and vital in coming years."
