The aim of this center is to create a research environment where creative people can collaborate for basic and translational research that leads to commercialization. Another aim of this center is to provide training opportunities for graduate and undergraduate students in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. This center will offer training and research opportunities in the areas of nanotechnology, which are not only of current importance, but are crucial, emerging areas that will remain attractive and vital in coming years.
This is a custom built laser utilizing a Sirah Dye Laser Model P-RSCG-2400 and a SPEX 1250M Spectrometer.
This a Laser Raman Emitting System composed of a LabRAM HR Olympus BX41 Clinical Microscope, Hariba Jobin Yvon LabRAM SR800 Raman Microscope, and a Melles Griot 43-Series Ion Laser.
Photon scattering method uses biological detection of disease states and DNA/RNA sensing.
