Trent Lott Geospatial Visualization and Research Center Jackson State University, is a Research Laboratory specializing in virtual reality and real-time Geospatial Research and interactive computer graphics and provides support to scientific research with latest developments in Geographic Information Science (GIS), Remote Sensing and Visualization. This Research Center bonds existing capabilities and expertise in the areas of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing (RS) and Scientific Visualization (Sci-Fi).






  • CAVE Library ( Software )

    "The CAVE Library has all the functions necessary to create a CAVE program. It deals with the synchronization of all the CAVE devices, the synchronization of the walls, the calculations of the stereo transformation, and many other CAVE-specific tasks."

  • Esri ArcGIS ( Software )

    "ArcGIS is a system for people who rely on accurate geographic information to make decisions. It facilitates collaboration and lets you easily author data, maps, globes, and models on the desktop and serve them out for use on a desktop, in a browser, or in the field, depending on the needs of your organization."

  • VR Juggler ( Software )

    "VR Juggler is a virtual platform for virtual reality software application development created at the Virtual Reality Applications Center at Iowa State University. Applications developed in VR Juggler can transparently move between a wide range of VR systems."
